The QuantiFluor® dsDNA System is a sensitive and easy-to-use fluorescence-based method for quantifying double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) in solution. The system is based on a proprietary fluorescent dye that binds specifically to dsDNA. When the dye binds to dsDNA, it emits fluorescence that can be measured using a fluorescence spectrophotometer or fluorometer. The amount of fluorescence is proportional to the amount of dsDNA in the solution.

  • 25mL 20X TE Buffer (pH 7.5)
  • 1mL QuantiFluor® dsDNA Dye
  • 100 µg Lambda DNA Standard, 100 µg /mL


Storage Conditions: Product may arrive frozen. Upon receipt, store the QuantiFluor® dsDNA Dye at 2-10°C, protected from light. Store the Lambda DNA Standard, 100ug/ml, at 2-10°C. Do not refreeze the Lambda DNA Standard, 100 µg /mL. Store the 20X TE Buffer at —30°C to +30°C.
